MODERN CRANES ADJUST TO SUIT THE INDIVIDUAL OPERATOR
Travelling and lifting profiles
ABUS cranes may be adapted to their individual applications via travelling profiles. Travelling characteristics of cranes with two fixed travel speeds will differ considerably from cranes controlled by frequency converters for example. Travelling and lifting profiles enable the cranes to be adapted to either current or desired crane operating situations. In case of existing cranes your crane operators will not have to adjust to something new but will much sooner experience increased productivity thanks to the additional crane system.
Anti-sway control
The ABUS anti-sway control increases travelling comfort and safety when transporting goods in sensitive areas. This anti-sway system is based on mathematical calculations taking into account travelling speed, acceleration and deceleration, time lag of crane and hoist, the position of the hook, and the length of the load lifting attachments. Even persons using cranes infrequently will be able to transport goods safely with the assistance of the anti-sway system.

Synchronisation control
The ABUS synchronisation control of two hoists on one crane ensures secure handling of long goods. Permanent automatic control effectively prevents the lifting speeds from getting out of sync even if the hoists are different—provided that the crane is fitted with a frequency converter for lifting. Travel speeds are also controlled for cranes operating in tandem. Two cranes, up to four hoists, and lifting: everything under control.

Modular and pluggable standard components
ABUControl relies on proven components made by well-known electronics manufacturers, components that are freely available on the open market. Replacement or repair are not within ABUS exclusivity nor are software licences required to access the control. You are always in control of the crane and the choice of service partner is your own. ABUControl is the unique promise of repair and maintenance made easy.
Radio remote control ABURemote
ABUControl EOT cranes are controlled via the ABUS radio remote control ABURemote. All safety and ease of use functions may be selected directly and intuitively. ABURemote radio remote controls offer you the choice between a hand held version “Button” and a comfortable version “Joystick”.
